Well I hang out in woods a lot talking to the trees and other than human and I’d love if you’d like to join me! All my work is around offering nature based support in a variety of ways – whether that’s directly to clients or to help other professionals with their outdoor counselling, or “walk and talk” practice through supervision and training. A brief summary of some of my activities:
Forest Bathing & Nature‑Connection Sessions: Want to relax, unwind and destress, whilst connecting with the trees? Go for a walk in a very different way? Forest bathing (or shinrin‑yoku) is an evidenced based wellbeing practice that helps you unwind and reconnect with your body and surroundings. I offer small group sessions, workshops, and gentle guided experiences where we’ll do all sorts of activties and silliness, but with scientific backing to help you unwind, relax, and feel more present.
These sessions incorporate forest bathing and nature connection and I try to make sure they are accessible, welcoming, and suitable for anyone curious about nature‑based wellbeing. In particular this might be for you if you are feeling overwhelmed, stressed or weary of current events!
My next Forest Bathing dates are on 20th March and 17th April 2026 at Lilleshall National Sports centre. For more details or to book please check out my bookwhen page here
Supervision for Practitioners: Isn’t supervision brilliant? I hope you have a great relationship with your supervisor but if not I offer clinical supervision for counsellors, therapists, coaches, and facilitators who want reflective, supportive space for their work – both working online, indoors or outdoors.
As well as outdoor work I’ve a particular interest and background in aspects of setting up private practice and marketing as a counsellor. Whether you’re brand new to working outside or already experienced, I’d be happy to chat about how together we can help you deepen your practice – I’ve more about my supervision work here.
Training & Professional Development: If you’re a counsellor, psychotherapist or psychologist who is interested in moving your pratice outside then come join me for a weekend’s training!
We cover various aspects of counselling outdoors, getting you all set to take your practice outside with plenty of opportunities to reflect on how working outdoors might influence your approach and the impact it might have on your work and your clients.
Whilst it will be heavily experiential with time for individual reflection, pair work and group discussion of course I will also be covering the practicalities such as confidentiality, weather, risk assessment, choosing a space etc as well as much much more.
If you’re curious about bringing more nature into your work, I’d love to support you. Current Training dates are late summer 2026 and Autumn 2026. Drop me a message for more details
Outdoor Therapy and Counselling: I’m not currently taking clients on for one to one counselling, however hope to start again in summer 2026.
